After week one my fantasy team is in shambles

Like most sports geeks I am involved in a rotisserie league. This on is for football and for the most part it is very similar to fantasy football.

So all off-season I am debating on whether to keep Javon Walker, wide receiver Green Bay Packers. He was threatening a hold out and his relationship with his quarterback seemed to be on the rocks.

Keep or waive? Keep or waive? Keep or waive?

Well I bit the bullet and decided to keep him. And wouldn't you know it he tore his ACL and is out for the season.

Oh sure I guess I should feel sorry for him since he was injured and this could affect his career. And since he was going to be a free agent after this year he might have to settle for contract that is a little less obscene. But really this pales in comparison to the hurt this puts on my team and the fact that I need to replace his catches.

Fantasy football sure puts things in perspective.
